The Track Shack Running Series is a six race series sanctioned by USATF, B-Tag scored and run on certified courses in distances of 5k, 4 Mile, 5 mile and 10k. The Series begins in August and concludes in March. Following a Grand Prix format, the Track Shack Running Series uses a points-based system based on results from race. Runners and walkers who score in the top overall or top age group positions receive points at each of the six events.
Points are earned by participating in any Track Shack Running Series event and placing in the top ten in overall or age group categories.
There are no awards or scoring for virtual races.
Individuals who finish at least five races and accumulate the most points to receive awards are recognized at the Running Series Award Ceremony.

Your age group for the Running Series is determined by your age at which you enter your first Track Shack Running Series race.
For example: Annie is 24 years old and will turn 25 years old on September 1st. The first race is on August 14, 2021. Because she is 24 years old at her first Running Series race she is eligible for points in the 19-24 age group for the rest of the Running Series.
Individual race results reflect your age on race day.
One time registration for the six Track Shack Running Series races.
One time registration for the six Track Shack Running Series races plus the Distance Dare thus registering for all eight races in the Series.
The Distance Dare is a fun challenge where one can register to participate in both races at UCF 5 miler & 2 mile and Winter Park Road Race 10k & 2 mile.

Being a FANATIC means that one signed up for all six races at the beginning of the season. Running Series points are awarded based on performance at each physical Running Series race. For example, runners placing in the top 10 positions in overall and age group categories receive Running Series points. So even if you're a fanatic, if you aren't scoring Running Series points your name won't be listed in the Running Series standings.
Being fast enough to score in the top ten is essential to receive to Running Series points! For more information, please see Scoring.
There are no awards or scoring for the virtual races.
At Celebration of Running 5k packet pickup you will receive:

Track Shack $25 cash and personalized bib will be available for all Fanatics at Battle of the Bands 5k bib pick-up in September. Register by July 9th for name on bib at Celebration of Running 5k.
Runners under the age of 18 and over the age of 65 receive a special $5 discount off the registration fee for Track Shack Running series races. The Track Shack Running Series FANATIC would not be financially beneficial to these runners. However, the additional benefits may be worthwhile to you.

Deadline: Friday before the first race
- FANATICS age 11 and older are automatically entered into 5k, 4 Mile, 5 Mile and 10k (UCF 5 Mile, Winter Park Road Race 10k).
- FANATICS age 10 and under are automatically entered, and are eligible for Running Series points, in 5k, 4 mile and 2 mile events only. (UCF 2 Mile, Winter Park Road Race 2 mile).
The registration fees are nonrefundable. If you can't make it to one or more Series races, you can switch to the virtual category.
