Spirits High Despite Rain at the 31st AdventHealth Corporate 5K

The 31st AdventHealth Corporate 5K took place on Thursday evening, May 8, at Lake Eola Park. Despite the Florida weather bringing a mix of sun and rain, the event was a success for workplace wellness, team building and giving back to community causes.
Team Jackson Healthcare used the AdventHealth Corporate 5K as an opportunity to
gather their employees, many who work remotely, and celebrate their team’s
generous contribution to Second Harvest Food Bank. Their employees raised
$4,150, which equates to 16,600 meals provided to those in our community who
are facing food insecurity.
Leading the way among the 14,116 athletes was Daniel
Beckstead, representing the Orange County Government team. Daniel finished with
an impressive time of 15:28. Amber Schulz, the overall female champion, ran an
outstanding time of 17:37 as a member of Track Shack’s Corporate 5K team.
AdventHealth, demonstrated that they are an organization dedicated to health, wholeness and uplifting the community, by winning the Team Spirit Award with over 2400 team members. A Corporate
