Introducing Zero To Fit!

Truer words were never spoken! The most common reason given for not exercising is a lack of time. With the New Year almost upon us, now is the perfect time to make the time and the commitment to improve your health and fitness.

Do you want to get fit but don’t know how to begin training? Do you need accountability? Would you like the support of a group-coached environment? Then Track Shack, Central Florida’s walking and running resource, has just what you need! Introducing

Zero To Fit, a beginner training program starting January 2016.
In order to better serve the health and fitness needs of the Central Florida community we have improved and expanded the services of our beginner running program. Zero To Fit is designed to provide the conditioning necessary to get you outside and on the road to a fitter you.

Zero To Fit begins by conditioning participants and then gradually introducing run/walking or running. For those already doing some running, Zero to Fit will work as well. Coaches will offer multiple workouts at each class to reach a variety of needs and fitness levels.  Zero to Fit targets everyone from the true beginner to those already doing some running.

Zero To Fit is a 10-week program that meets two days a week. Orlando classes meet on Monday and Wednesday at Blue Jacket Park in Baldwin Park. Lake Mary classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday at Lake Mary Preparatory School. One hour classes are offered at convenient times through the day, starting at 5:00 am, 10:00 am and 6:00 pm Learn how to warm up, how to train properly, how to cool-down, and how to stretch. Gain conditioning and fitness while having fun in a very social and supportive atmosphere. Participants will receive a weekly email with instructions about the upcoming week of training along with educational information. Members will also have special access to free clinics on running, exercise clothing, and shoe fitting at Track Shack.

Who is Zero To Fit for?

• Adults who want to start walking or running.
• Adults doing some running, walking, or run/walking and want to improve cardio-respiratory fitness.
• Adults who want to get fit and have fun at the same time

Track Shack offers a variety of training programs from beginning your fitness journey with the new Zero to Fit program to programs on speed such as Five and Dime or longer distances like MarathonFest.
