We’re shining the spotlight on companies like DRMP, Inc. that prioritize wellness and teamwork, which is what the AdventHealth Corporate 5k is all about.

Q: 2024 was DRMP’s first year participating in the Corporate 5k! What inspired your company to join?
A: I’ve been a regular 5k and half marathon runner, and I thought the Corporate 5k would be a great opportunity to get my company involved. It’s been a fantastic way to promote team building and good health while connecting people across departments and offices.

Q: How have you been inspiring your co-workers to get involved in the Corporate 5k?
A: We started by putting out event blasts on our company intranet page. Once people started signing up, I implemented group training sessions two days a week after work hours to encourage everyone—regardless of fitness level—to join. We even take group pictures of us training together and share them on our intranet and LinkedIn. This has inspired others to sign up and join in on the fun and camaraderie.

Q: What does workplace wellness look like at DRMP?
A: Wellness is a key priority for us. Our company encourages employees to take advantage of its wellness program, and the Corporate 5k is another way to get people involved. While some join to train specifically for the race, we welcome everyone interested in becoming healthier and more active.

Q: What is most important to DRMP right now?
A: Team building and relationships are our focus. Participating in the Corporate 5k aligns perfectly with these values, helping us strengthen connections across departments and offices while promoting good health and wellness.

Q: What should other Corporate 5k companies know about DRMP?
A: DRMP is an award-winning civil engineering firm headquartered in Orlando, delivering sustainable civil infrastructure services while enhancing opportunities for our employees and the communities we serve. With more than 700 employees across our offices, we are deeply committed to improving work/life balance and supporting the communities we serve through our investments, big and small.

Registration for the 2025 AdventHealth Corporate 5k is now open, and we can’t wait to see DRMP back on the course next year.
