OUC Orlando Half Marathon: Where will the new course take runners this year?
MEDIA: WESH News 2On Dec. 7, all that hard work will come together on an all-new course that starts out a little different this year.
Starting at Lake Eola, runners will head west on Central Boulevard before heading up Rosalind Avenue, turning on Livingston Street and running through Lake Eola Heights, Colonial Town and the Milk District.
The longest, uninterrupted straight shot is through Crystal Lake Drive, where participants will run for about 2 miles before hitting the 5-mile mark and turning onto Conway Gardens Road. From Raeford, runners will turn up Fern Creek and run to some well-known downtown neighborhoods like Bel Aire and Lake Davis.
After passing the WESH 2 broadcast block party, the course continues into Delaney Park, where runners will turn north on Delaney Avenue and start making their way to the finish line.
