COACH BIOS

Susan Paul, MS, LMT Susan Paul: Susan is the Training Program Director for the Track Shack Foundation and also coaches MarathonFest. She has a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine. In addition to coaching, Susan is a Licensed Massage Therapist with a private practice in Winter Park. Susan has been participating in running and triathlon events since 1980 and is a certified USA Triathlon Coach. In 2001, she earned the rank of All-American Triathlete in her age group (45-49). Runner’s World Magazine recently featured Susan as one of the top ten “Supercoaches” in the country. Susan’s Training Plan for veteran marathoners was featured in the July 2007 issue of Runner’s World Magazine.

Marianne Harris: Marianne works with the Marathonfest training program as Susan Paul’s assistant. She has an Associate Degree in Nursing, is a Registered Nurse and an American Heart Association CPR instructor. A runner since 1983, she ran her first marathon in 1998 and has since completed 9 marathons including qualifying for and running the Boston Marathon in 2006.

Sarah Robertson: She is a graduate of Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Recreation Management. Sarah was a four year varsity member of LHU's Cross-Country, Indoor and Outdoor track teams. While at LHU her track teams won two PSAC track titles (one indoor and one outdoor) and finished runner up twice as well. She was a two year Cross Country captain, 6 time PSAC Scholar Athlete and two time NCAA Cross Country Academic All-American. Sarah's love for running, warm weather, and an internship with the Track Shack Foundation brought her to Florida. She now is a full-time employee with Track Shack and is a dedicated MarathonFest Coach. Sarah loves to run and spend time with friends in her spare time.

Bj Price: Bj works with MarathonFest coordinating the Sunday runs. She is currently working on a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering at UCF and leads a team of technical writers for Walt Disney World Engineering. Bj has been running with MarathonFest since 1999. Her current PR of 5:02 was set in November 2007 at the City of Oaks Marathon in Raleigh.

Bob Brosnan: If you're ready to achieve success through our W.R.A.P program Bob is the man who will guide you. Bob began as day of race personnel and is now very involved with many aspects of event management. Aside from running a handful of marathons his pastime includes traveling with his wife of 40 years and has a profound wealth of knowledge in horticulture.

Dave Dickinson: Five & Dime- Once you meet Dave Dickinson, you won’t forget him. Dave is just one of those “high-energy” guys. He raced competitively since the late seventies while working full-time in advertising. His PR’s include: 16:55 for the 5K, 34:58 for the 10K, 1:20 for the Half-Marathon, and 2:56:07 for the Marathon. At 60+ years of age, his PR’s include an 18:47 5K, and a 39:15 10K. Currently, Dave is taking a break from racing and is now teaching tennis and coaching for the Track Shack Foundation training programs.

Nathan Adams: Nathan Adams is a new addition to both Track Shack and the Track Shack Foundation Training Programs (Five and Dime). He recently graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Physical Education and Health. While at FSU, Nathan ran cross country and track for the seminoles. He loves the sport of running and enjoys coaching just as much! Recent PR's include 14:42 5K, 30:28 10K. GO Noles!

Wayne Talbott: A Graduate from the University of Pittsburgh in 1978, and a 4 year all-star varsity letterman in Basketball brings his experiences to the track. A seasoned professional in Physical Education with over 23 years experience, Wayne has continued to impact the lives of children at Audubon Park Elementary. With 1 marathon, Chicago, under his belt he is training with MarathonFest for the Philadelphia Marathon in November. He’s completed 10+ 1/2 marathons and numerous 5k and 10k races throughout his 10 years of running. Wayne’s partnership with the Winter Park Health Foundation allows him to promote his vision of health and fitness to his students and staff. His passion for sports shines on and off the track.
