I hope you enjoyed the Memorial Day weekend. The break between training sessions is almost over! We resume training with the Summer/Fall Session of MarathonFest on Tuesday, June 2nd. Get registered for the Summer/Fall session now!

Many thanks to Don Lauher and Raymond Randall for putting out support on an OYO weekend! Thank you guys, lots of us used it!

Have you targeted your Fall or early Winter race yet? So far, we have runners going to Chicago, Mohawk Hudson Valley, NIKE, Niagra Falls, Marine Corps, New York, Daytona Beach Half, Womens' Half Marathon, Space Coast, Jacksonville, OUC Half-Marathon, Disney, and Goofy. Some of these races are still open, so sign up soon before they close!

We are working on a new system for sending the mass emails to the entire MarathonFest group. Beginning, Monday, June 1st, all MarathonFest participants registered for the Summer/Fall Session will begin receiving the group email from me through the Track Shack server. This email will contain all the training information for that week and you will no longer have to search the website for the weekly email. Once you are placed in a pace group, you will also receive a weekly email from your Pace Group Leaders with the details for your weekend run.

THIS WEEK'S TRAINING-------------------------------------

TUESDAY & THURSDAY- Run easy this week, no speedwork! Run 4-8 miles at a comfortable pace.

WEEKEND MILEAGE- 6-10 miles

MARATHONFEST: The Summer/Fall Session begins Tuesday, June 2nd, morning or evening workouts. Our first weekend training run will be Saturday/Sunday, June 6 & 7. Chicago, NIKE, Marine Corps, and New York Marathoners begin training with 10 miles. Space Coast, Jacksonville, and Disney Marathoners begin with 4 miles. All Half-Marathoners begin with 4 miles. Get ready!
