Coach Bios

susan-paulSusan Paul

Susan is the Training Program Director for the Track Shack Foundation and also coaches MarathonFest. She has a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine. In addition to coaching, Susan is a Licensed Massage Therapist with a private practice in Winter Park. Susan has been participating in running and triathlon events since 1980 and is also a certified USA Triathlon Coach. In 2001, she earned the rank of All-American Triathlete in her age group. Runner's World magazine (July 2007) recently featured Susan as one of the top ten "Supercoaches" in the country. Susan is a contributor to "Ask the Experts" column in Runner's World magazine and to the Beginner's Blog on the Runner's World website.

Marianne Harris

Marianne Harris is the Program Director for the Orlando Galloway Training Program. Marianne has worked as an assistant to the Track Shack Foundation Training Program Director since 2005. A runner since 1983, she ran her first marathon in 1998 and has since completed 14 marathons including qualifying for and running the Boston Marathon in 2006. She has an Associate Degree in Nursing, is a Registered Nurse and an American Heart Association CPR instructor.

Bj Price

Bj coordinates the Sunday MarathonFest training runs. She is currently working on a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering at UCF and leads a team of technical writers for Walt Disney World Engineering. Bj has been running with MarathonFest since 1999. Her current PR of 5:02 was set in November 2007 at the City of Oaks Marathon in Raleigh.

Bob Brosnan

If you're ready to achieve success through our W.R.A.P program, Bob is the man who will guide you. Bob began working for the Track Shack Foundation as a day-of-race personnel and has since become very involved with all the aspects of event management. Bob has run a handful of marathons and now thoroughly enjoys coaching others. In his free time, Bob enjoys traveling with his wife of 40 years and has a profound wealth of knowledge in horticulture.

Dave Dickinson

Dave is one of our "Five and Dime" coaches. Once you meet Dave Dickinson, you won't forget him because Dave is just one of those "high-energy" guys. Dave has raced competitively since the late seventies while working full-time in advertising. His PR's include: 16:55 for the 5k, 34:58 for the 10k, 1:20 for the Half-Marathon, and 2:56:07 for the Marathon. At 60+ years of age, his PR's include an 18:47 5k, and a 39:15 10k. Dave is a certified RRCA Coach and thoroughly enjoys coaching other runners. Dave is also a USTA Tennis Coach.

Nathan Adams

Nathan Adams works full-time at Track Shack and is the Head Coach for the Five and Dime (5k & 10k) training program. He is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Physical Education and Health. While at FSU, Nathan ran cross country and track for the Seminoles. He loves the sport of running and enjoys coaching just as much! Nate's recent PR's include 14:42 5k, 30:28 10k, 1:12 Half-Marathon. For his debut marathon, Nathan ran the Oklahoma City Marathon and was the Overall Winner with an impressive 2:36!

Wayne Talbott

Wayne is one of our "Five and Dime" coaches. Wayne is a graduate from the University of Pittsburgh 1978 and a 4 year all-star varsity letterman in basketball. Wayne brings his athletic training and experiences to the track. Wayne is a seasoned professional in Physical Education with over 23 years experience. Wayne has been a runner for 10+ years and has several marathons and half-marathons under his belt. His passion for health and fitness shines on and off the track.
