The Race Director and Track Shack Events (TSE) have been monitoring the hot weather forecast for Thursday evening, May 9. For participant safety, TSE has decided to change the race start time to 6:45 pm and shortened the route to 2.4 miles.
Changing the start time allows for slightly lower temperatures and better conditions. Shortening the distance allows runners and walkers the opportunity to participate with reduced chance of heat-related issues.

Find out how your team finished against other companies in your industry! Not doing it for the Glory? Don't worry, team scoring is optional. This is a great opportunity to stir up friendly competition and get company recognition.
All teams that submit participants times and create scoring teams on https://manage.hakuapp.com/login/ioa by noon on May 13 are recognized in the results. Results are broken down in each industry category by: Men's, Women's, Coed divisions.
1st Place - Receive a team plaque and individual team member gifts

The SimplyIOA Corporate 5k presented by Key HR is not computer scored, meaning we do not record individual finishers’ times. To be included in the official results, the Team Captain must record all submitted times AND create scoring teams on manage.Hakuapp.com. The option to submit results and team scores will appear in the Team Captain admin page after 6:15 pm on race night. The admin options are mobile friendly!
In Person Participants
Each participant is responsible for remembering his/her race time from the digital display clocks at the finish line AND reporting to the team captain.
Virtual Participants
Virtual participants will run or walk on their own and email their finish time to the team captain by 11:59 pm on May 12. Include first, last name and finish time from your watch.
Rules & Requirements
• Any registered participant who is a full-time employee and who works for the company / organization for a minimum of 32 hours per week and employed with organization for at least 3 months is eligible for scoring.
• A CEO/Entrepreneur (An entrepreneur has 3 or less full-time employees) is eligible for scoring.
• Minimum number of participants required for team scoring:
Men’s Team = 4 full-time male employees
Women’s Team = 4 full-time female employees
Coed Team = 4 full-time mixed gender employees
• Team Scores must be submitted by noon (12:00 pm) on May 13.
• A participant may only be placed on one scoring team.
• A company may submit multiple teams, i.e. SimplyIOA Women's A team, SimplyIOA Women's B Team, etc. Submit as many teams as possible and get recognized in the results!
• Upon verification, if the race committee finds discrepancies with your company team, the entire company team will be disqualified.
