A: Register a company team or add team members by filling out the PAPER REGISTRATION FORM(S).

Q: Is there an extra charge to register online?
A: No, the online registration system allows a convenient process without additional fees.
Q: When registering online, can team members pay for their own registration fee?
A: No. The team captain "Creates a Team." Each participant then can register as a member of that team. No payment is accepted at that time. The Team Captain is responsible for one payment by check or credit card for the team registration fees by the close of online registration, Thursday, April 1.
Q: Can additional participants sign up after the online registration deadline, April 1, 2010?
A: Yes, the individual Participation Registration Forms will be available on the website once online registration closes. The registration fee is $28 per participant from April 3 – April 14.
Q: When using online registration, is a check accepted?
A: Yes, the check payable to Track Shack Fitness Club must be received at Track Shack by the online registration deadline, Thursday, April 1 close of business. When "Creating a Team" the team captain must input a valid credit card to guarantee payment.
Q: I'm the Team Captain, what happens if I chose to “PAY BY CHECK” and the check is not received by the online registration fee deadline, April 1?
A: The credit card # that was input at Company Team Registration by the Team Captain will be processed for $23 per participant at close of business on April 1.
Q: What is the TEAM REGISTRATION PASSWORD?
A: TEAM REGISTRATION PASSWORD is created and distributed by the Team Captain to gain registration access to a particular team. This allows individuals to sign up for your team.
Q: My company is not paying for each participant’s registration fee, how do I ensure I receive payments from those team members registering online?
A: As the Team Captain managing your team’s payment procedure is up to you. Collect money from team members then distribute the TEAM REGISTRATION PASSWORD so they can begin registering.
Q: I'm the Team Captain, what if someone on my team decides not to participate?
A: A team captain can drop five team registrations without penalty.
Q: I'm a Team Captain, can I view the team members that have registered?
A: Yes, click on Team Captain Tools online registration web page.
Q: What time should I be there?
A: We highly recommend arriving at Lake Eola before 5:00 pm due to the size and time of this event.
Q: Where should I park?
A: Twenty parking garages in downtown Orlando have been identified on the Parking Map. Other suggestions include using side streets, car pooling and walking together from downtown office buildings.
Q: Where is the start line?
A: Corporate 5k starts on Central Blvd. heading west. Runners (wearing blue bib numbers) will line up on Central Blvd. Walkers (wearing light purple bib numbers) will line up on Eola Drive. Please see Course Map.
Q: Where do I drop off my canned food item for Christian Service Center?
A: Two drop off locations will be set up: 1) On Rosalind Ave. near the Amphitheatre and 2) Eola Drive (Panera side).
Q: Our team has a team tent. How do I find it around Lake Eola?

Q: Do I have to use any of the preferred caterers?
A: No, however we highly recommend them due to their event experience.
Q: May I bring my own team tent?

A: Yes, one banner is allowed but must fit within tent.
Q: What post-race refreshments are provided?
A: A: Water and bananas available for all participants. Each participant receives one complimentary Mich Ultra coupon on their bib number. Additional Mich Ultra may be purchased for a $2 donation!

A: No.
Q: What is a team?
A: A group of individuals who come together under the company/organization umbrella such as employees, friends, family, suppliers/vendors and clients.
There are two types of teams: Scoring and Non-scoring
Q: What is a SCORING team?
A: A group of individuals who all work full time (at least 32 hours per week) for the same company. Examples include a corporation, limited partnership, sole proprietorship, non-profit organization.
Q: What is a NON-SCORING team?
A: A group of individuals who don’t work for the same company but who are participating under the company/organization umbrella, examples include YMCA members or St. Cloud Pavement Pounders Running Club. Such teams may be made up of volunteers, club or congregation members, friends and family.
Q: Who is eligible to score on a company team?
A: Any registered runner or walker who is a full time employee and who works for the company/organization for a minimum of 32 hours per week.
Q: Who is the CEO?
The most senior full-time employee of a company with four or more employees. A person does not necessarily need to hold the CEO title (i.e. President, Owner, etc). There is only one CEO/ team.
Q: How do I score my team?
A: After the race, team members report their finish time, exactly as it appears on the finish line clock, to their team captain. The Team Captain records all scores on scorecard(s) and turns in the scorecard(s) to the Information/Scoring tent for men’s, women’s, or mixed teams by 8:45 pm. Participants can only be placed on one scorecard.
Q: Where do I find the Team Captain Scorecards?
A: In the Team Captain Race Pack which is available during Race Packet Pick Up beginning April 8. Also on race night at the Information/Scoring tent.
Q: When & where will results be posted?
A: Industry category results will be posted on www.Corporate5k.com the next business day.
