Orlando's MarathonFest Sends Largest Team to LASALLE BANK CHICAGO MARATHON

On October 22, 2006, the Track Shack Foundation’s marathon training program, MarathonFest, is proud to send 117 of its 500 members off to Chicago this coming weekend for the Chicago Marathon. MarathonFest Orlando brings the largest number of teams and runners from any single running program in the United States. This year we have 20 Teams with 117 runners. Chicago is always a very popular choice for our marathon runners, and this year is no different. For the third year in a row, we are sending a very large number off to the Windy City.

MarathonFest runners participate in a “team” entry, a special feature of The LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon. For a small additional fee, runners can form teams, with 5 or 6 runners on each team. Team members have access to a wonderful hospitality tent that provides pre- and post- race food and drink, seating, changing tents, gear check, bathrooms, post-race massages and a special family reunion area.
