new lookTRACK SHACK INTRODUCES A NEW LOOK to Celebrate 30th Anniversary

ORLANDO, FLA., August 1, 2007 –Track Shack, one of the nation’s most respected athletic retail organizations and foundations in the sport of running, has unveiled a new look and feel in their quarterly publication, the Track Shack Event Guide.

“We have been the ‘go to’ place for thirty years in Central Florida for runners and all types of athletes, something of which we are especially proud,” said Betsy Hughes, co-owner of Track Shack and Event Marketing & Management International. “In commemorating our 30th anniversary, we thought it was time to introduce a modern and fresh look in our popular Event Guide that all our runners would appreciate.”

The cleaner and more modern look that Track Shack goers will see is concurrent with Track Shack’s 30th anniversary, which will kick off the annual Grand Prix Series with a special run on August 19, The Celebration of Running 3.0. This special run will aim to raise $30,000 for the Orlando Science Center as part of Track Shack Foundation's dedication to encouraging the development of both the academic and athletic emphasis a child needs to enrich their future.

“It is important to us to be a part of contributing to children’s future in central Florida, and we welcome the community commitment to support this run and future Track Shack Foundation events that benefit our community,” said Hughes.

With a retail store, an event company and a charitable foundation, Track Shack and Event Marketing & Management International have produced numerous events to benefit charities throughout Central Florida since 1977. The two sister companies have also sponsored athletic events in area schools and have made donations to athletic programs in schools from elementary through college level.

The 30th anniversary will be depicted through timelines, photos and with a special 30th Grand Prix Series logo in the 2007 thru 2008 issues of the Track Shack Event Guide, as they celebrate this important milestone.
