Runners and walkers can be tricky people to shop for, so we decided to help Santa out this year and asked our local athletes what they were hoping to find under the tree. Here’s what they said:

Niki wants new running shoes and wardrobe!

Michelle hints that “Body Glide would fit well into a stocking … so would packs of Gu or SportsBeanz… so would a flashing light… so would a pair (or 3) of socks…”

Jamie is less materialistic and is hoping for “1 minute off my mile pace for Disney marathon.”

Kaitlyn is wishing big for the garmin 405 watch!

Stephanie wants “Books, Personally I am more inspired to follow my running schedule if I am reading about how to improve and what the health benefits are.”

Marathon Chris Isn’t holding back, and says “Hmmmm, I will take one of everything! Stocking stuffers like Body Glide, Visors, fuel belt stuff. Big things like new Garmin (of course) race entry to a cool race, certificate for one of the training programs…”

Tatjana Would love gift cards, or socks, or a nice long sleeve to wear on the colder days, or really anything that inspires someone to move.

Melissa wants a Garmin, bike trainer, running clothes, etc….

Jeff is making it easy. He wants Asics Kayano 16s in an 11.5 size please!

Lindsay wants cross country spikes!
