Amanda Morehead – Track Shack Juniors Coach
Coach Amanda has worked with kids since she was 15. She started as a summer camp counselor for the Girl Scouts. By 17 she was teaching swimming lessons and coaching kids instructional swimming for the City of Dunedin, and later the City of Oviedo. She went to UCF where she earned both her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Art Education. She has been an art teacher for Orange County Public Schools since 2004. The past 10 of those years she has taught middle school art at Conway Middle School. More recently, she coached Special Olympics swimming for 3 years. Amanda started getting into running in 2011. Since that time she has completed over 30 half marathons and 7 marathons (including 1 Goofy Challenge and both Dopey Challenges). For her, running is a way to stay in shape and enjoy a healthy activity with her friends!

Emily is a Graphic Design student at University of Central Florida. She has joined us as a Social Media intern for Track Shack Events. She is from Ocala and enjoys drawing, painting, and hand lettering in design. When not busy with school or work she looks forward to swimming, reading, and watching movies.
